ok, if you haven't yet heard of gallery wrap canvases, be prepared to drool.  they've been around for awhile, but we recently added a couple to our personal art collection.  these are an AWESOME way to feature your super cool family photo session in your living room or wherever.  and the bigger the better.  ours are 16x24, which is a good start, but i want to go HUGE.

they are about an inch and a half thick and the image stretches around the side, just like a painting.  and they come ready to hang!

i've decided to add film sessions to our collections permanently, so if you missed the boat for this week on a film session, no worries!  they will now be available any time.  stay tuned for images from this week's shoots.

in honor of capturing that juicy golden hour of light, the following session times will be best, though if you really want to shoot and aren't available during these times, no worries, drop me a line anyway.

on march 12th and 13th, sunrise and sunset are right around 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. respectively.  i'm game for sunrise if you are, so on those two days a 6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m. slot is available for the early birds, as well as 5:30-6:30 p.m.

on march 14th, we bump clocks ahead.  march 14th-21st the ideal session time is 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

upon booking, a signed contract will be due, with payment in full ($150 + tax) by two weeks before your session.

a cd in one of our super stellar hand-crafted jewel cases of the selected scans is available for $250 (+ tax) or individual scans will be available for $50 (+tax)/image.

i've been craving to go back to film for, oh, at least a year now.  it's tangible.  it's natural.  if you don't have raw talent, it's hard to make up for it after the fact when you shoot film.  for me, it represents the pure and peaceful.  the colors are sublime and in this over-processed world, almost dream-like.

so, i bring to you the three-roll film festival...

from march 12th-21st, i will accept a limited number of one-hour portrait commissions at the location of your choice in the st. louis area.  maternity, babies, families, seniors, couples and pets are all fair game.  i will photograph only three rolls of 36 frames for each client (108 images) and post the best 15-20 per client in an online gallery for 2 weeks.

your super special session fee for this crazy adventure is $150 (plus tax).  you can purchase a CD of the selected high resolution scans in one of our hand-crafted jewel cases for $250 (plus tax) or a whole slew of other goodies, including gallery canvas wraps, photo jewelry, albums, handbags and fine-art prints.
